Please note: While Ubers and Lyfts are readily available in Charlottesville, their availability can be limited for airport pick up at off-peak hours or late at night. We recommend scheduling a cab upon arrival if you are arriving at night or at other off-peak hours.

AMTRAK

Amtrak offers great rates on trains to and from DC (2-2.5 hours). There are 1-3 train times on most days. The Charlottesville Amtrak station is conveniently located on West Main in Charlottesville in between the Downtown Mall and "The Corner".
